risk committee
A committee of a *board of directors (or similar governing body) that oversees an organization’s *risk management policies. Risk committees are a relatively new concept in the early twenty-first century, and are not as widespread as *audit committees. In many organiziations, audit committees take on the duties typically associated with risk committees.
