standing data
Information that changes infrequently. Standing data can refer to both computerized and manual records, though it is more commonly used to refer to the former. An example of standing data is the recording of customer addresses, trading terms, and *credit limits in the context of *accounts receivable. Standing data excludes the details of individual transactions.
