Journal of Accounting and Economics
An international, scholarly accounting journal. Established in 1979, the journal is published in six issues a year by Elsevier Science, in print and online formats. The journal’s notes state that it "encourages the application of economic theory to the explanation of accounting phenomena": It covers mainly accounting matters, but auditing topics are also frequently addressed.
